The Age Optimization System For Women is a coaching program designed to help women enhance their health and wellness by discovering, utilizing and refining what their body and mind is capable of.

I believe that being healthy is just as much about having a strong and fit mind as it is about having a strong and fit body. Therefore, the fundamentals of this program are centered in mental exercises and emotional awareness.

The AOS for women system is divided into 5 modules where we will explore what motivates you to stay consistent with healthy habits. Each module will consist of a 1 hour coaching session where we will take a deep dive into a specific subject.

You will be given assignments that pertain to this subject to complete in order to progress to the next module. Together, we will create a plan that you will not only be able to sustain, but also build upon in the future.

MODULE #1 OPTIMIZING YOUR MINDSET: AFFIRMATIONS AND GOAL PLANNING

Affirmations are positive statements that can help you challenge and overcome self-sabotaging and negative thoughts. When you repeat these statements often and believe in the words you are saying, you start to think differently, which will lead to acting and making decisions that are in line with your affirmations. The process of creating affirmations is very powerful in itself. It allows your mind to visualize what you dream your life to be like. Saying the words out loud enables you to actually feel it in your body so that you will start thinking the way you need to in order to be the best possible version of you.

After we create your list of affirmations, we will map out your goals. How do you want to feel? How do you want to look? What will it take to feel and look this way? How will achieving these goals affect your life? How will achieving these goals affect your family’s life? What do you think is standing in your way? Organizing these thoughts will help you connect more deeply to the reasons why you want to make a change. From there, we will break down the big goals into bite size pieces that will build upon each other during your journey.
MODULE #2 OPTIMIZING YOUR NUTRITION

The nutrients that your body needs can change throughout the different stages of your life. We will identify what your needs are and create a plan that fits those needs. Food is a heavy topic and everyone has different amounts of knowledge and experience with diets and meal plans. There are a lot of emotions tied to food, especially for women, that we don’t even realize are there. If you’ve tried to make a change in the past, we’ll talk about what has worked for you and what hasn’t. What your strengths and weaknesses are and what you are currently eating in a typical day. The AOS nutrition plan will be a plan customized for you and will be based on the fundamental principles of health, vitality and longevity. We will make sure you are getting the right amount of nutrients from a variety of fruits, vegetables, protein and essential fatty acids in your diet.

MODULE #3 OPTIMIZING YOUR FITNESS

In order to optimize your fitness in the physical form, you must challenge your body and also take care of your body. Oftentimes, we are so anxious to reach our goal, that we forget to pace ourselves, listen to our body or take much needed recovery time.

The AOS system includes a cardiovascular plan, a resistance training plan and most importantly, a body maintenance plan. These plans will be tailored to your needs depending on what your body is capable of and what resources you have. After accessing what your body needs, I will set you up with a specific plan that will include cardiovascular training, resistance training, corrective exercises and stretches to help maximize your recovery process.

What is challenging for one woman may be just a warm up for someone else. It’s important not to compare too much yourself to the person next to you or on social media. Use each other for inspiration, but know that you are only competing with yourself. There is no exercise program that “fits all” and that’s why this program will be truly unique to your needs and goals.

MODULE #4: HOW TO DEAL WITH SETBACKS

The biggest determining factor of success for anyone is how they handle obstacles. People who are successful attack obstacles and move past them regardless of the outcome. They do one thing. They KEEP GOING. In my career as a personal trainer and coach, I have found that the number one thing that causes people to fall short of their goals is that they get discouraged by stumbling blocks in the road. In Module 4, we will identify the things that have impeded you in the past and look at them from another perspective. Getting more familiar with your own triggers will give you heightened sense of control the next time you face them in your journey. We will identify why you might feel weak in these moments and create an action plan for the next time this occurs so that you can be empowered by your own mindset.

MODULE #5: POSITIVE BODY IMAGE AND MENTAL FITNESS

Loving your body is about being comfortable in your body, and only you get to set the parameters of that. Only you get to decide what that looks like, and only you know where the finish line is. Never let anyone make you feel ashamed about what you do with your body.

Having a positive body image means something different for everyone. Some people just want to feel healthy, strong and fit. Others want to look a certain way or be a specific size in order to feel good about themselves. The pressure that women face to look and act a certain way is beyond what we can consciously comprehend. In this module, we will talk about what it really means to be fit and healthy and how we can accomplish that not just physically, but mentally as well. It’s important to have these mental tools as we get older and as our bodies change.
